USA Chapter of SKVT Alumni Trust (SKVTAT-USA)

The focus of SKVTAT-USA is to reconnect alumni with old friends and the old school and make new friends.  SKVTAT-USA can help pool our resources together to help SKVTAT meet its objectives and will serve as your bridge to the organization. We have plans to conduct mentoring programs which aims to assist alumni who are new in the US and help them get familiar with the new culture and much much more in the near future.  Read more about SKVTAT-USA

Logo and Slogan design contest 

SKVTAT proudly presents the logo & slogan contest to its great Alumni, to design a worthy logo for the organization, which will be used for all official purposes once it is registered as a non-profit organization. 

World Maths Day celebrations 

World Maths Day was celebrated at SKVT English Medium High School, Rajahmundry from March 5th to 7th, 2012. The goal of this event was to encourage students of all classes to have a go at Mathematics in a fun, interactive and accessible way. SKVT School Mathematics faculty members Shri Rambabu Sir, Shri Gurumurthy Sir, Shri Nagabhushan Sir with the help of Headmistress Smt Satyavathi Madam and other faculty members conducted Maths quiz competitions, Maths exhibition, Sudoku and daily puzzle contexts to students of all ages. SRUJANA - The Annual Picasso Hunt, 2012

As a part of the Republic day celebrations, SKVT Alumni Trust with the help of our faculty and staff organized its first annual drawing competition “SRUJANA- The Annual Picasso Hunt – 2012” on January 24th and 25th  of 2012. We had a tremendous response to this event and the kids presented their creative and natural talent in their drawings and paintings.

Nancharamma Madam retirement, December 31st 2011

Nancharamma miss after serving our school for more than 30 years, retired on 31st of Dec 2011. She  was helpful, passionate while teaching and also one of  the favorite teachers for the students.  She taught English and Natural science for the secondary grade students.  She has two daughters who are also SKVT Alumni, are now  settled in Hyderabad and USA

Nagabhushan Sir represented SKVT School at the national level for Red Cross events
 
Nagabhushan Sir visited Amritsar as a Junior Red cross unit member representing our state. Faculty and students from 18 states represented this event. Nagabhushan Sir along with RajKumari Madam of SKVT had been very active members in Junior Red Cross unit which organized several events in the past like AIDS rally, distribution of nutritious food to AIDS effected children etc., Kudos to Nagabhushan Sir and RajKumari Madam for their active involvement in  these  social activities.
