Helping Syed Ibrahim's Family

Syed Ibrahim is working as a salesman in a cloth show room in Rajahmundry. He has three bright and talented kids, Syed Sheik Fareed (7th Grade), Syed Arief (6th Grade) and Syed Yaseer Arafat (2nd Grade). Even though he was struggling to make both ends meet, Syed Ibrahim continued to send his three children to Sobha School in Rajahmundry. Syed Jeelani, alumni from the year 1992, had been extending financial help for the last couple of years to this family without which their education would not have been possible.

In June 2012, Jeelani approached Jagadeesh Basina (1992 year Alumni), an executive member of SKVT Alumni Trust, for financial assistance in order to continue sending Syed’s family to school. SKVTAA was humbled by this opportunity and readily agreed to extend financial support to Syed’s family.

SKVT Alumni Trust made necessary arrangements to enroll these three students in SKVT School, for the academic year 2012-2013. SKVTAA contributed around twelve thousand rupees towards admission fee and first year tuition fee and took a pledge to support their education until tenth class. We are thankful to Syed Jeelani, for referring Ibrahim’s family and providing us with an opportunity to serve.

Scholarship documents were distributed to Syeds brothers on August 21st and SKVT Alumni Trust wished them all success in their academics.

SKVT Alumni Trust believes in the principle of equality and will continue to provide scholarships to poor and needy people in the form of tuition fee, text books, uniforms etc as mentioned in our mission statement. SKVTAlumni Trust will constantly monitor their progress and will update the user community accordingly.
