Helping AIDS affected Children

Junior Red Cross chapter of SKVT School in collaboration with SKVT Alumni Trust jointly organized an event to help AIDS affected children and their families as part of their community program initiatives. About 30 AIDS affected children were invited to SKVT School on December 26th, 2012 along with their families. They were given nutritious food and blankets.

SKVT School students performed songs and dance programs for brining back smiles on the faces of children. They also performed a small play to educate everyone how AIDS can be prevented from our society. SKVT School faculty Mr. Nagabhushan and Mrs. Rajkumari who are cousellors for Junior red cross society played a very important role in organising this event.

SKVT Alumni Trust president Mr. Sudhakar Kasina and member Mr. Santhosh Kumar of 2011 batch visited the school during the event. Rajahmundry Municipal commissionar Mr. Jitendra and Bommana Rajkumar were invited as chief guests for the event and they distributed the food and blankets to the AIDS affected poor children.
